Carbon Reduction Plan

March 2025

Commitment to achieving Net Zero
Vivisol is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2035.

Baseline Emissions Footprint

Baseline Year: 2020
Additional Details relating to the Baseline Emissions calculations. Vivisol UK increased fleet vehicles in 2020 with an increase in services with a new region in the North East of England. Overall, this did not impact our overall carbon emissions.

Emissions reduction targets

In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets. Any increase is in new services would require a full review of current reduction targets although we are confident this would not impact our long-term reduction plan.

Our carbon reduction targets are audited by third party Climate Impact Partners a founding member of the International Carbon Reduction & offset Alliance.

Carbon Reduction Projects

Vivisol Carbon Reduction Initiatives

The following environmental management measures and projects have been completed or implemented since the Vivisol UK 2020 baseline. The carbon emission reduction achieved by these schemes equate to 301.6 tCO2e, an 20% reduction against the 2020 baseline and the measures that are in effect.

  • Consistently review and evolve our vehicle fleet reducing emission targets by looking at alternative fuel vehicles and
  • Improving our infrastructure with electric vehicle charging points across our locations
  • Encourage staff members to participate in environmental sustainability projects by educating and training them on environmental awareness and carbon reduction techniques
  • Continuous improvement of the company’s energy use to guarantee that long-term plans are carried out in accordance with our reduction plans
  • Embedding the use of smart technology electrical equipment in line with our reduction plan
  • Engage with our supply chain providers, collaborating closely to find ways to reduce third party transportation-related emissions, selecting vendors who have robust environmental policies and carbon reporting
